EXT. CITY STREET - NIGHT

A ferry worker in the far north finds a stranger's suitcase full of money and a note with her own name on it.

                            VOICE OVER

How can I go on? I didn't mean to do it. She forced my hand. It's her fault. Her and that damned dog. And now here I am, lugging a suitcase full of money and not a clue with where to use it. Maybe I should just fill with bricks, tie it to my body and jump in. That'd be the easiest solution. But thing's are never quite that simple.

Ines writes people who lie well and pay for it. Thrillers with a pulse and a conscience; comedies that turn out to be thrillers. Currently: a six-part limited series about a city that sells its own weather.
